Since there is right angle (90) degrees, pythagoras theorem could be applied.

The side facing the right angle (90) degrees is the hypotenuse (c).

10^2=8^2+b^2

10 \times 10=8 \times 8+b^2

100=64+b^2

100-64=b^2

36=b^2

Square is a number multiplying itself

5 \times 6=b^2

b^2=b^2

Since the powers are the same, the bases are also the same.

5=b

The breadth

=6\ \mathrm{cm}
