From the dialogue, Wanja is involved in substance abuse and this behavior can be curtailed through re-orientation andrehabilitation. Re-orientation involves changing his perspective about substance abuse and its effects, whilerehabilitation involves helping him overcome his addiction. Sending him abroad for further studies or indulging himwith expensive gifts may not necessarily change his behavior. Financial inducement may even worsen the situation ashe may use the money to buy more drugs.
