Soil erosion is a process in which the top fertile layer of soil is lost; it is the removal of topsoil by natural forces. The various factors that causes soil erosion are wind, water, overgrazing, deforestation, and bush burning. Bush burning and excavation expose the soil to the agents of erosion, which result in soil erosion.
